Disability Support

Our group is relatively new and was formed in early 2004 to offer advocacy support sessions for disabled people in the Bradford district. We are run by and for disabled people. We are not impairment specific, unlike some disability groups, and welcome all disabled people to join our Management Committee, to become a trained volunteer on one of our accredited training courses or to use our support service. Our advocacy support sessions are offered at accessible venues across the Bradford district. We plan to offer 'disability issue based' forums and to commence a community arts group in 2006.
